on the way to Tower Bridge from Tower of London.

ロンドン塔からタワーブリッジへ行く途中、私達はホットドッグの移動販売車で

but I tried to have it that it's very popular in New York.

●　ピーナッツはナッツでなく、豆の1種なのに、なぜナッツというのでしょうか？

　　　今日、先生に質問しました。

　　　それはその形がナッツに似ているからです。

　　　コーヒー豆が実は木の実であり、豆ではないのと同じです。

　　　なるほど、毎度のことながら、先生はうまいこと説明してくれますね。

　　　英語以外のこともいろいろ勉強になります。

　　　他の人にピーナッツアレルギーがあると言うと、ほとんどの人はじゃあ、

　　　そうですね。みんな間違えていますよね。私もこれまで、何となくアーモンドやくるみと

　　　同列に考えてしまっていました。スーパーでも同じ所に売られていますしね。

　　　　先生は日本語の他にフランス語も勉強している（勉強家です）ので、

　　　　この言葉について教えてもらいました。

　　　　フランス語で左（名詞）、左の（形容詞）の意味があります。

　　　　セーヌ河の左　gauche de la Seine （グーグル翻訳でフランス語が聞けます）

　　　　他に Oh, my god !　のgod の代わりに、gosh （ゴーシュ）という言葉があります。

　　　　god の遠まわし表現で、驚き、喜び、不快などを表し、「あら、大変、おやまあ」
