私たちが来年の１月にインドに行く理由は２つあります。 １番目の理由はインドの１月はあまり暑くないし雨が降らないので、 　　観光にベストな季節だからです。 ２番目の理由は次女がインドに滞在している間に訪れたいからです。 　　娘の夫は来年の春、他の国に転勤になるかもしれないんです。
My husband has been to India and Nepal 　　about 50 years ago before marriage.
夫は今から５０年近く前、結婚する前に 　　インド・ネパールに行ったことがあります。
After the trip, he told me, 　　"India was hell, Nepal was a little heaven ! 　　I never want to go to India again."
旅のあと、彼は私に言いました。 　　「インドは地獄、ネパールはちょっとだけ天国だった！ 　　インドには二度と行きたくない。」

I had been worried 　　about going to India for as an old person, 　　but fortunately, my son-in-law was transferred 　　to India on business 1 and a half years ago, 　　so I decided my mind "It's now or never !"
年寄りがインドに行くのはちょっとだけ心配でしたが、 　　幸運なことに、娘の夫がインドに１年半前に転勤になりましたから 　　私は「今しかない！」と心を決めました。

1st (First) day 　　We'll go to from Kanazawa to Tokyo 　　by Shinkansen(bullet train), 　　and stay at a hotel by the Narita Airport 　　the night before.
１日目 　　金沢から新幹線で東京に行き、 　　成田空港近くのホテルで前泊します。
2nd (Second) day 　　We'll go to Mumbai from the Narita Airport 　　by direct flight of ANA.
２日目 　　成田空港から全日空の直行便の飛行機でムンバイに行きます。
3rd (Third) day 　　We'll visit our daugher's house and 　　go sightseeing in Mumbai.
３日目 　　娘の家に行って、ムンバイを観光します。
4th (Fourth) day 　　Same as above.
４日目 　　同上
5th (Fifth) day 　　Same as above.
５日目 　　同上
6th (Sixth) day 　　We'll go to Agura Agra from Mumbai 　　　by domestic flight.
６日目 　　ムンバイから国内線飛行機でアグラに行きます。
Agura ??? Ah, Agra.
アグーラ　？？？ ああ、アグラですね。
Oh, Agura is like Romaji (Roman alphabet).
ああ、アグーラってローマ字みたいですね。
7th (Seventh) day 　　We'll go sightseeing in Agra.
７日目 　　アグラを観光します。
8th (Eighth) day 　　We'll go to　Mathura from Agra by train.
８日目 　　 アグラから列車でマトゥラーに行きます。
9th (Nineth) day 　　We'll go sightseeing in Mathura.
９日目 　　マトゥラーを観光します。
10th (Tenth) day 　　Same as above.
１０日目 　　同上
11th (Eleventh) day 　　We'll go to Delhi by train.
１１日目 　　マトゥラーからデリーに列車で行きます。
12th (Twelfth) day 　　We'll go sightseeing in Delhi.
１２日目 　　デリーを観光します。
13th (Thirteenth) day 　　We'll go back to Japan from Delhi 　　by direct flight of ANA and stay in an overnight flight.
１３日目 　　デリーから全日空の直行便飛行機で日本に帰り、 　　機内泊します。
14th (Fourteenth) day 　　We'll arrive at Haneda in the morning 　　and go back to Kanazawa by Shinkansen.
１４日目 　　朝、羽田に着いて、東京から金沢に新幹線で帰ります。
Actually I want to go India for 1 month 　　 including South India, 　　but I don't have confidence in my physical 　　and mental strength, 　　so this time, only west and north India.
本当は１か月くらい、南インドも含めて行きたいのですが、 　　自分の体力や精神力に自信がないので、 　　今回は西インドと北インドだけにしました。
I think it's a good choice to go to the northside. The southside can be challenging.
北インドに行くのはいい選択だと思います。 南インドは困難を伴う可能性があります。
Stories I heard, 　　south India is worse than north India.
私が聞いた話によると、南インドは北インドより悪いです。
When I consulted my daughter about my travel plans, 　　she objected to going to the Taj Mahal 　　because it's boring, 　　but I really want to go there.
私の旅の計画について娘に相談したら、 　　タージマハールは退屈だからと行くのを反対されましたが 　　私はどうしても行きたいです。

I think if you are going to India, 　　you have to go to the Taj Mahal.

My parents went there long time ago, 　　and I didn't go there when I went to India 　　and I regret it a lot.

I thought it's better to regret going there 　　than to regret not going there.

If I want to go to India again after returning to Japan, 　　next time 　　I'll go to my daughter's recommended South India.
もし、日本に帰ってきて、もう１度インドに行きたいと思ったら、 　　次回は娘のおすすめの南インドに行きたいです。
But I might think "India…enough is enough." 　　like my husband though…….
でも、私も夫の様に「もうインドはうんざり〜。」と思うかもしれませんが。
I think younger generation of India is changed. They are very smart and good well mannered.

First of all, I got round trip plane tickets.
まず、私は飛行機の往復チケットをとりました。
I was going to buy tickets online, 　　so I Googled by search word 　　"ANA official website international flights"
オンラインでチケットを買おうと思ったので、 　　”全日空公式サイト国際線”とグーグル検索しました。
There were some things I didn't know how to do, 　　so I had no choice but to call ANA.
やり方のわからない所があったので、仕方なくANAに電話をしました。
I couldn't get through to ANA, 　　I finally got through after 40 minutes.
ANAに電話がなかなか繋がらなくて、４０分後にやっと繋がりました。
Wow !
わあ！
When I said, "Going trip is from Narita to Mumbai 　　and return trip is from Delhi to Haneda." 　　then she said, "Please wait a minute." 　　and I waited for over 10 minutes again.
私が「行きは成田からムンバイで、帰りはデリーから羽田です」と言うと 　　「しばらくお待ちください。」と言われてまた１０分以上待ちました。
Telephone receptionist answered "I looked up them, 　　Newbery Airport in Argentina is domestic airport 　　so there are not some aren't any flights to Japan." I was shocked to hear that.
電話受付の人が「今、お調べしましたが、アルゼンチンのベリー空港は 　　国内線の空港なので日本へのフライトがありません。」と言ったので 　　私はずっこけました。
I said while keeping a straight face, 　　"It's not Bery, it's Delhi, capital of India."
私は笑いをこらえながら、 　　「ベリーじゃなくて、インドの首都のデリーです。」と言いました。
Hahahahaha.
ははははは。
I was disappointed in my bad pronunciation, 　　but thanks to that, I was a little glad to know 　　that Bery is domestic airport of Buenos Aires.
私は自分の発音の悪さにがっかりしましたが、でもそのおかげで 　　ブエノスアイレスにある国内線の空港が 　　ベリー空港だと知って、ちょっとうれしかったです。
I was misunderstood 　　that I'm planning a trip around the world 　　from Japan, India, Argentina to Japan(haha).
日本からインド、そしてアルゼンチンから日本へと 　　世界一周旅行を計画しているんだと勘違いされてしまいました（笑）。
Round trip ticket between Japan and India is 　　94850 yen per for 1 person, (per person is OK) 　　and 189700 yen per for 2 persons people.
日本とインドの往復チケットは１人９４８５０円、２人で１８９７００円でした。
It's cheap 　　because the end of January is not a busy season, 　　it can't be changed and refunded.
このチケットは１月の終わりは繁忙期ではないのと、 　　変更と払い戻しができないので安いんです。
For example, new year twice prices are doubled.
例えば、お正月は２倍の値段がします。
Double. Twice is two times.
２倍なんですね。 トゥワイスは２回です。
I asked her, "By the way, how much is a ticket 　　that can be rescheduled and refunded ? 　　she answered "It's 1540000."
私はその電話受付の人にききました。 　　「ちなみに変更と払い戻しができるチケットはいくらですか？」と 　　たずねると、彼女は「１５４００００円です。」と答えました。

I would rather waste money 189700 yen 　　than buy the rescheduled and refunded tickets.
変更と払い戻しができるチケットを買うくらいなら、 　　１８９７００円が無駄になった方がましです。

I was taught how to buy tickets online 　　that I didn't understand, 　　so I bought them online.
オンラインでのチケットの買い方のわからない所を教えてもらったので 　　私はオンラインでチケットを買いました。
In Japan, credit cards is are more common 　　than debit cards, 　　but I don't like credit, 　　so I bought them by a debit card.
日本ではデビットカードよりクレジットカードが一般的ですが、 　　私はクレジットカードが好きではないので、 　　デビットカードを使いました。
We can go shopping by credit card 　　even if we don't have money in the account, 　　but we can't go shopping by debit card 　　without money in the account, 　　I don't like borrowing money. And debit card is withdrawn from account quickly 　　unlike credit card, so I like it.
クレジットカードはその時にお金がなくても買物ができますが、 　　デビットカードは口座にお金がないと買物ができません、 　　私は借金が好きではありません。 またデビットカードはクレジットと違い、 　　買物するとすぐに引き落とされるので、わかりやすくて好きです。
I got an E-ticket by e-mail, 　　then I printed it.
Eチケットがメールで届いたので、それを印刷しました。
Next I booked hotels online.
次に私はホテルをオンライン予約しました。
I'm old, so I always book hotels by Hotels.com 　　with telephone support.
私は年寄りなので、いつも電話サポートのある 　　ホテルズドットコムで予約します。
I have to book 5 hotels, Narita, Mumbai, Agra, 　　Mathura and Delhi, 　　but I thought I should book a hotel 　　in sightseeing town Agra first.
成田・ムンバイ・アグラ・マトゥーラ・デリーの５か所のホテルを 　　予約しなければなりませんが、 　　まず観光地アグラのホテルを先に予約すべきだと思いました。
Right.
それは正しいです。
When my daughter and her husband 　　went to Taj Mahal last year, 　　they failed in choosing a hotel.
娘夫婦が今年タージマハールに行った時、ホテル選びに失敗しました。
There are 3 entrance gates in Taj Mahal, 　　South gate, West gate and East gate.
タージマハールには三か所の入り口、南門・西門・東門があります。
We can enter the Taj Mahal from all gates 　　 in during the daytime, 　　but we can enter there from only east gate 　　on nights with a full moon.
昼間はどこの門からも、タージマハールに入ることができますが、 　　満月の夜のタージマハールには東門からしか入ることはできません。
Actually a hotel that my daughter stayed, was in a slum, 　　and the nearest gate is the South gate.
娘の泊まったホテルは、実はスラムの中にあるホテルで、 　　最寄りのゲートは南ゲートでした。
They were not able to enter there from the South gate, 　　but they had a kind gate staff member take them 　　to the East gate by motorcycle with triple riding.

彼らが南ゲートから入ろうとしたら入れませんでしたが 　　南ゲートの親切な職員にバイクの３人乗りで、 　　東ゲートに連れて行ってもらいました。
Three people ? Hahaha, scary !　I will never. Risky.
３人乗りですか？ ははは、おそろしい！ 　私は絶対にしませんよ。　危険です。

That's why my daughter advised me 　　to book a hotel on East gate side.

そういうわけで、私は娘からアグラのホテルは東ゲート側のホテルを 　　予約した方がいいよとアドバイスを受けていました。

I looked up a hotel on the east gate side on Google Maps.
私はグーグルマップで東ゲート側のホテルを検索しました。
I looked up a hotel as close to near 　　Taj Mahal as possible, 　　then I booked Taj Hotels Resorts 　　13 minutes walk from Taj Mahal 　　along the East gate Street.
なるべくタージマハールから近いホテルを検索して、 　　東ゲート通り沿いの歩いて１３分くらいの 　　ホテルタージリゾーツを予約しました。。
What is the difference between near and close ?
ニアーとクロースの違いは何ですか？
Same,but close sounds better.
同じですが、クロースの方が良く聞こえます。
I payed the hotel fee with a debit card, too. Cancelation is free until 2 days before.
ホテルもデビットカードでお金を払いました。 このホテルは２日前までなら、キャンセル無料です。
By the way, Why do you think 　　why did I choose pre-payment ?
ところでなぜ事前払いを選んだと思いますか？
Because of it's cheaper ?
安いからですか？
No, because we can't choose card-payment, 　　only cash(rupees) payment.
そのホテルはカード払いがなくて、現金（ルピー）払いだけだったからです。
Next I tried to book Bloom Hotel Worli in Mumbai 　　5 minutes walk from my daughter's house.
次に私は娘の家から歩いて５分の 　　ムンバイのブルームホテルウォーリを予約しようとしました。
Good.

But I looked up the hotel with Hotels.com, 　　it was already sold out.
ところがホテルズドットコムで検索したら、 　　そのホテルはすでに完売になっていました。
I told my daughter about it, she said, 　　"Then, try it again with Booking.com."
娘にそのことを言ったら、「じゃあ、ブッキングドットコムでもう１度やってみて。」 　　と言われました。
Fortunately I felt relieved to book it with Booking.com.
ラッキーなことに、ブッキングドットコムでは予約できたので、 　　私はほっとしました。
Next I looked up minimum necessary Hindi online.
次に私は必要最低限のヒンディー語をパソコンで調べました。
There are over 800 languages in India, 　　in north India where we will go, 　　people speak Hindi.
インドには８００以上の言語がありますが 　　私の行く北インドではヒンディー語が話されています。
And in Mumbai where my daughter lives, 　　people spoke Marathi in the past, 　　but now Hindi and English 　　because Mumbai is a big city 　　where people come from various regions and countries.
そして娘の住むムンバイでは元々はマラティー語が話されていましたが、 　　いろいろな国や地域から集まっている大都会なので 　　現在はヒンディー語と英語が使われています。
When I went to former British colonies, 　　(Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Hong Kong), 　　I learned minimum necessary languages of 　　those countries(Sinhalese, Urdu, Cantonese), 　　then I was happy, 　　that's why I learn Hindi a little..
旧イギリスの植民地の国々（スリランカ、パキスタン、香港）に 　　行った時に、それらの国々の言葉（シンハラ語、ウルドゥー語、広東語） 　　を必要最低限だけ覚えていきましたが、 　　とても楽しかったので、ヒンディー語もちょっとだけ覚えていきたいんです。

When he asks to me, "Kya haru he ?" 　　I always answer , "Takugayaa."(hahaha)
夫が「キャー・ハル・ヘ？ー元気？」ときくと、 　　私はいつも「タクガヤ〜ー疲れた〜」と答えます（笑）。
I told him,"Chai deejie"during a meal.
食事中、私は夫に「チャイ・ディージェーお茶ちょうだい」と言います。
He said, "Theeke theeke."
夫は私に「オーケー」と答えます。

嫌いな食べ物があったら、夫は「トラトラー少しだけ」と言います。

私はヒンディー語で「エク・ドゥイ・ティーン・チャール・パ〜ンチ 　　ー１、２、３、４、５」と言いながら、カンフーの型やめまい体操をします。
