Yes, I had. My wife did enjoyed hot springs but I didn't go. I stayed in the hotel room and slept the whole day.

I went to Nawaloka Hospital in Colombo 　　that I had an appointment 　　in the morning of returning to Japan 　　due to the backache.
スリランカから日本に帰国する日の朝、 　　私は腰痛のため、予約してあったコロンボのナワロカ病院に行きました。
There wasn't a Japanese speaker in the hospital, 　　so I was worried 　　if I could explain my medical condition in English.
ナワロカ病院には日本語のわかるスタッフはいなかったので、 　　私は英語で病状を説明できるか心配でした。
I made a hospital appointment at 10:30 a.m. 　　so I made an appointment 　　with my driver at 10:00 a.m. 　　to meet at the hotel lobby, 　　but he was 50 minutes late. I complained to him, "It's too late !" 　　then, he made an excuse for something.
午前１０時半に病院に予約してあったので、 　　ホテルのロビーで１０時にドライバーと会う約束していましたが、 　　彼は５０分も遅刻しました。 私が「遅すぎる！」と文句を言ったら、彼は何か言い訳をしました。
He is very typical Sri Lankan.
彼は典型的なスリランカ人ですよ。
That's why we left the hotel at 10:50. But, but he said,"Oh, no, we are almost out of gas. 　　We have to stop by the gas station." When we went to the gas station, 　　there was no gasoline in stock there, 　　so we had to go to another stand.
そういうわけで、私たちは１０時５０分にホテルを出発しました。 ところが、ドライバーが「やばい！ガソリンがきれそうです。 　　ガソリンスタンドに寄らなければなりません。」と言いました。 ガソリンスタンドに行ったら、ガソリンが底をついていたので 　　他のスタンドに行かなければなりませんでした。
Finally, we arrived at the hospital at 11:50 a.m. In short, I was 1 hour 20 minutes late, 　　but, but it was no problem. It was Sri Lankan time exactly.
結局ナワロカ病院に到着したのは、１１時５０分でした。 つまり、１時間２０分遅刻しましたが、でも何の問題もありませんでした。 まさにスリランカ時間でした。
Oh, it changed ! I was in Sri Lanka, this was not these better.

There was an International counter in the hospital 　　that was a reception for foreign patients.
ナワロカ病院には、インターナショナルカウンターという 　　外国人患者専用の受付窓口がありました。
There was a hospital attendant woman in at the counter. She took me kindly from beginning to the end. I think I didn't know at all without her where to go. She told me, "Take a seat.""Stay here." 　　over and over again.
この窓口には、案内係の女性がいました。 彼女は最初から最後まで、親切に私を連れていってくれました。 もし、彼女がいなかったら、私はどこへ行けばいいのか 　　全然わからなかったと思います。 彼女は私に「ここに座って。」「ここにいて。」と何回も言いました。
This is a medical examination room of Dr.Srithran, 　　orthopedic surgeon.
ここは整形外科医のスリスラン先生の診察室です。

He examined me. Hospital staff told the doctor, 　　"Yes, sir. Yes, sir." over and over again.
スリスラン先生は私を診察しました。 病院のスタッフは、 　　「はい、先生。イエッサー、イエッサー」と何回も言っていました。
In Sri Lanka, doctors are admired by people ?
スリランカでは、お医者さんは人々から尊敬されていますか？
Yes, yes, very. In Japan, to become doctor, very expensive, 　　but in Sri Lanka, education is free.

In Sri Lanka, goverment hospital is not highest pay, 　　private hospital is very high, of course.
スリランカでは、国立病院は最高の給料ではありませんが、 　　私立病院はもちろん高い給料です。
Nawaloka Hospital is a private hospital, isn't it ?
ナワロカ病院は私立病院なんですよね？
Your doctor is very good.

I had a blood test and X-ray examination.
私は血液検査とレントゲンを受けました。
There were some cute footprint stikers 　　on the hospital corridor, 　　so it was easy to understand.
●英語では　seal　と　sticker　は別の物なので注意 　　　　seal　　密閉する、封印する 　　　　sticker　　日本でシールと呼ばれているもの（日本人のイメージするシールのほとんど） 　　　　　　　　　　　　My child put stickers on my notebook. 　　　　　　　　　　　　　（子どもが私のノートにシールを貼り付けちゃった） 　　　　　　　stick（動詞）　貼る、くっつける、くっつく
病院の廊下には、かわいい足跡のシールが貼られており、 　　わかりやすかったです。
And there was a sticker 　　"Please keep your cell phones switched off 　　　during consultation."like Japan.
それから日本のように「診察中は携帯電話のスイッチを切って下さい。」 　　　の貼り紙がありました。
The doctor projected an X-ray on a lightbox 　　and explained to me. To my surprise, there was a shining buddha statue 　　above the lightbox.
先生はレントゲン写真をライトボックスに映して、説明してくれました。 驚いたことに、そのライトボックスの上には光り輝く仏陀がありました。

According to the doctor, 　　I got back pain because the gap was narrow 　　between hip bone and hip bone. After the explanation, 　　the doctor told me, 　　"Please lie down on the bed to do the exercise."
先生によれば、私の右の腰の骨と骨の間のすき間（椎間板）が 　　狭くなっているので、腰痛が起きたそうです。 説明の後、先生は「今からエクササイズをするので、ベッドに寝なさい。」と 　　言いました。
The doctor put his hand under my waist and said, 　　"Push for 5 seconds and relax for 5 seconds…" After the exercise, he asked me, 　　"How is the pain ?" 　　I said, "Oh, my back pain get got better ! 　　Thank you so much, thanks to you."
先生は私の腰の下に手を入れて、「５秒間押して、５秒間リラックスして。……」 　　と指導してくれました。 エクササイズが終わった後、先生が私に「どうですか？」と 　　きいたので、 　　私は「わあ、腰痛が治りました！ 　　先生のおかげです、ありがとうございます。」と言いました。
My husband went to plastic surgery, 　　and had an injection 　　but his back pain didn't get better. Compared to that, my back pain got better 　　just by doing exercise. Dr.Srithran is a great doctor, isn't it ?
私の夫は日本で整形外科に行って、注射をしても 　　腰痛が全然よくなりませんでした。 それにくらべて、エクササイズをしただけで 　　私の腰は治ってしまいました。 スリスラン先生は大先生ですよね？
That depends on doctor, in Japan, 　　making money, making money.
医者によりますが、日本では金儲け、金儲けですよ。

The doctor told me, "When you went back to Japan, 　　do the exercise 3 times a day. 　　Then, you have to sleep face down 3 nights 　　while you put a pillow under your neck."

He made a medical certificate (doctor's note) 　　because I had to take a long flight. He said, 　　"Please come to get the certificate at 5:00 p.m."
長時間飛行機に乗らなければならないので、 　　先生は診断書を書いてくれました。 「夕方５時に診断書を取りに来なさい。」と言われました。
Is this medical certificate in Sinhalese ?
この診断書はシンハラ語で書かれてありますか？
No, in English. I think he is not a Sinhalese doctor, 　　he is a Tamil doctor.
いいえ、英語で書かれてあります。 彼はシンハラ人ではなく、タミル人の医者だと思います。
His name is not a Sinhalese.

I left Colombo at 5:30 p.m. Then I arrived at the airport at 6:30 　　and I got on the plane to Japan at 11:30 p.m.
夕方５時半にコロンボを出発しました。 ６時半に空港に到着して、 　　午後１１時半に日本行きの飛行機に乗りました。
This is an airline meal of Sri Lankan Airlines. The curry was tasty but the rice was crushed 　　both ways. I ate tasty rice anywhere within Sri Lanka, 　　why didn't just airline meals rice was not tasty ? I think if we wash rice too strongly, 　　it's not tasty.
これはスリランカ航空の機内食です。 行きも帰りもカレーはおいしかったんですが、 　　ご飯が潰れてしまっていました。 スリランカ国内では、どこでもおいしいご飯を食べられたのに、 　　なぜ機内食のご飯だけはまずかったのでしょうか？ お米を研ぐ時に力を入れすぎると、潰れてまずくなると思います。

I arrived at Narita Airport, Japan at 11:50 a.m. When I went out to the arrival lobby, 　　I saw a big paper over there. It says, "Welcome to Japan, ●●(my name)"

My 3 daughters greeted me there. Now my eldest daughter lives in Kagoshima, 　　my second daughter lives in India 　　and my youngest daughter lives in Noto, 　　but they lived in Tokyo in 2014. It was a surprise.

We took a commemorative photo 　 　and had a lunch. Trip to Sri Lanka was fun from beginning to the end.

In India, she can't buy Japanese food, 　　so she sometimes comes back, 　　for example Japanese rice. There are long grain in India, 　　but she wants Japanese sticky rice.
インドでは、日本の食べ物を買えませんから、 　　娘は時々帰ってきます、例えば、日本の米とか。 インドには細長い米がありますが、娘は日本のもちもちした米が 　　ほしいんです。
It's hard to find Japanese food in India.
