| Now I'm going to talk about the romance. | |
| それでは今からロマンス（恋物語）の話をしますね。 | |
| TANABATA is Star's-Festival on the 7th of July in Japan. |

| 七夕は日本で７月７日に行われる星のお祭りです。 | |
| Long long ago, God of heaven had a daughter. |
|
| 昔むか〜し、天の神様には娘が１人おりました。 | |
| Her name was star-Vega "Princess Orihime". | |
| 彼女の名前はベガ座の星「織姫」といいました。 | |

| Orihime wove cloth very well. | |
| 織姫はとても上手に布を織りました。 | |

| It was so beautiful cloth with a pattern of a cloud in the sky. |

| The God, her father, said "This is a cloth of heaven. I'm so happy." | |

| That sounded "Ton karan ton karan"during weaving cloth. | |
| 布を織っている間、それは「トン カラン トン カラン」と聞こえました。 | |
| One day, a young man heard the sound in the west of the Milky-way. | |
| ある日のこと、ひとりの若者が天の川の西で、その音を聞いていました。 | |
| His name was star-Altair "Hikobosi". | |
| 彼の名前はアルタイル星の「彦星」と言いました。 | |
| He was a cowboy. | |
| 彼の仕事は牛飼いでした。 | |

| He said "What a clear sound ! I'd like to see somebody weaving cloth. |
|
| 彼は言いました。「何て澄んだ音なんだろう！ 布を織っている人を見たいなあ。」 | |
| So the God thought that if they'll get married, they would work more. | |
| そこで神様はもし彼らが結婚したら、もっと働くだろうと思いました。 | |
| Orihime came across the Milky-way for marriage. | |
| 織姫は結婚のために、天の川を渡ってきました。 | |
| Hikobosi told her, "Have you been weaving the cloth? What a beautiful woman you are!" |

| 彦星は織姫に言いました。「あなたが布を織っていたのですか？ あなたは何て美しい人なんだろう！」 | |
| Orihime told him, "I have waited for a young man like you." | |
| 織姫は「あなたの様な方を待っていたんです。」と言いました。 | |
| They had worked separately before but they could work together from now on. | |
| 彼らはそれまで別々に働いていましたが、これからは一緒に働けます。 | |
| They talked all day. | |
| 彼らは一日中話しました。 | |
| Orihime combed her long black hair, Hikobosi played the grass-flute. | |
| 織姫は長い黒髪をとかし、彦星は草笛を吹きました。 | |
| Her fingers forgot weaving cloth, his hands forgot cowboywork. | |
| 彼女の指は布を織ることを忘れ、彼の手は牛飼いの仕事を忘れました。 | |
| The God was very sad. | |
| 神様はとても悲しみました。 | |
| At last the God made them separate. | |
| ついに神様は彼らを離してしまいました。 | |

| The God looked at them and said, "I'll let them meet just once a year" | |
