| In the beginning, English teachers named Hong Kong students English names to be easy to call in the British colonial era. |

| Hong Kong is a multinational state, so they need English names. | |

| But nowadays, lots of young people use English names even between Chinese. | |

| On the second holiday, we went sightseeing in center of Kanazawa together. | |
| ２回目の休日、私達は一緒に金沢観光に行きました。 | |
| On the third holiday, he went to Noto by train and bus (public transportation) alone. |

| ３回目の休日、彼は電車とバス（公共交通機関）を利用して、１人で能登へ行きました。 | |

| When I heard his plan, I worried about him. | |
| 彼の計画を聞いた時、私は彼のことを心配しました。 | |
| That was the first time that homestay student took a day trip to Noto alone. | |
| ホームステイの学生が１人で能登へ日帰り旅行をしたのは、それが初めてだったのです。 | |
| I told him, “You can speak Japanese well, and adventure trip is important for you. I'm sure, it will be OK. But if you are in trouble, you can call me anytime.” He was 20 year’s old. |

| 私は彼に言いました「タイソンは日本語が上手だし、冒険の旅はあなたにとって大切です。 きっと大丈夫だと思う。 でも困った時はいつでも電話してね。」 彼は２０歳でした。 |

| He had lots of trouble taking a trip around Noto, then he came home safely at 11:00 p.m. |
|
| 彼はいろいろ苦労して能登を旅してきて、午後１１時に無事に帰ってきました。 | |
| I praised him, "Weldone ! You did a great job !" | |
| 私は彼を誉めました「えらいね！ よくやったね！」 | |
| You know, Noto is not an easy place for us to travel by public transportation. | |
| ご存知の様に、能登は公共交通機関を使って旅をするのに簡単ではない所なのです。 | |

| His talk about the adventure trip was very interesting,. Especially he took Open air bath “Hyokkori-hyotan spa” while he was worried about the departure time of bus. |
|
| 彼の冒険談はとても面白かったです。 特に、バスの発車時間を心配しながら、”ひょっこりひょうたん温泉”の 露天風呂に入っていたという話が面白かった。 |
